PENN HILLS was a couples retreat in the Poconos that fell on hard times and was later abandoned. The derelict resort became a popular destination for bloggers, photographers, and other interlopers, but burned down completely in 2019, leaving nothing but stories and ephemera. This project, inspired by a 1978 commercial for the resort—found on a VHS tape and anonymously uploaded to YouTube—imagines a modern re-brand for the resort .
